P3/21TO AGREE MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON 15TH DECEMBER 2020
The minutes from the meeting held on 15th December, 2020 had been circulated and it was RESOLVED that they be signed as a correct record
P4/21TO DISCUSS THE APPLICATIONS RECEIVED AS LISTED:
58536/001 Prior approval - installation of solar photovoltaics equipment on the roof of non-domestic buildings - Clanfield Surgery, 2 White Dirt Lane
Members viewed the proposals and after discussion agreed that No Objections would be made
57541/001 Variation of condition 2 of 57541 - to allow the use of cladding on the first floor extension - 19 Valley Park Drive
Members viewed the proposals and received input from the applicant, after discussion it was agreed that No Objections would be made
59028 Two-storey rear extension - 8 Homefield Way
Members viewed the proposals and after discussion agreed that the Council would OBJECT to the application, by three votes to one. The point considered with regards to the Core Strategy Policy (CP29) Design is would this fall within the Policy by contributing to the local distinctiveness to the surrounding properties OR detract from the appearance of the immediate locality by having a negative impact on the adjoining building. There are concerns with regards to the visual impact, potential overlooking and the height and bulk of the proposed extension
SDNP/20/05647/TCA T1 and T2 - Silver Birch - Reduce by 3 metres from tips on height and lateral spread by 2 metres maximum, leaving a finished height of 6 metres and a spread of 4 metres. T1 to have one limb removed over outside seating area - Southview Farmhouse Chalton
Members considered the application and agreed that the applicant should follow the advice received from the EHDC Arboricultural Officer and tree surgeon
At this point the Chairman reported that the following application had been received since the agenda had been issued:
