Parish Council Grants
The Parish Council provides grants to community organisations within the parish and those outside the Parish that can show a clear benefit to some or all residents in Clanfield. The Parish Council considers grant applications throughout the financial year providing there is sufficient budget available. To apply for a grant please complete the application online form. Applications are considered at the Council meeting. Those applying for grants will be invited to attend the Council meeting where decisions about their application will be made, and may be invited to answer questions about their application. Grant for 2022/23
The Parish Council has allocated £3,000 to support community organisations.
Grants supported in 2021/22
£300 - Citizen Advise East Hampshire. Supporting residents with employment, housing, debt and benefits as well as relationship breakdown and other issues.
£200 - The Royal British Legion. Street Party and Concert to celebrate to 100th Anniversary of the Poppy Appeal in Clanfield
£250 – St Michael’s & All Angels Church Chalton. Contribution to tree works in the closed Cemetery
£100 – Horndean Technical College (HTC). Christmas Lunch for Senior Citizens
£150 - Victim Support. Providing free confidential advice to victims of crime, witnesses, their family and friends.
All applications must be accompanied by the following financial information: If you do not supply this information your application will not be considered unless previously agreed in writing by the Council.
• A copy of your latest approved statement of income and expenditure or other financial report which indicates your financial position, or
• Photocopy of bank statements covering the past three months
• A statement of your capital assets, if any
