P9/20TO AGREE MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING

The minutes of the last meeting had been circulated and it was RESOLVED that they be duly signed as a correct record.

P10/20TO DISCUSS THE APPLICATIONS RECEIVED AS LISTED:

Site visits were carried out by the Chairman and Clerk

38129/006 Single storey extension to side and attached car port - 22 Nickleby Road

The Chairman gave some background information on the application. The applicant read out a prepared statement and the members of the public addressed the meeting. After discussion members agreed that the comments submitted would be that the Council raise no objections to the proposed extension; however the Council have some concerns about the size of the proposed car port and its close proximity to the adjacent property boundary and TPO trees. Members consider that arboricultural comments from EHDC officers will be important for the consideration of this application.

57821 Certificate of Lawful Development - Proposed Annexe / Home Office in rear garden following demolition of outbuildings - 122 Green Lane

Members viewed the plans and after discussion agreed that the Council would object to this proposal - the footprint is excessive and the proposed "annexe" is considered inappropriate for the setting and over- development of the rear part of the site. As such it is considered that it would be an unacceptable form of back garden development. In addition, some concern was expressed about the prospect that the "annexe" could be used for running a business with a consequential affect on traffic and parking.

SDNP/19/ Agricultural dwelling, Land South Of 81 South Lane, Chalton
05968/FUL

Members viewed the plans and after discussion agreed that the Council would raise no objections to this proposal providing the dwelling is retained solely as an agricultural tie and the roofing materials blend in with the existing properties and the materials used are sympathetic to the environment

25963/018 Installation of 2 x rapid vehicle charging stations, existing spaces will become 2 ev charging bays along with associated equipment - Southern Co-Operative Ltd, 2-14 White Dirt Lane

Members considered the re-siting of the proposed vehicle charging stations and considered that there would be no objections in principle but believe that this facility would be better sited closer to the entrance to the Co-op's loading yard.
