P27/20TO DISCUSS THE APPLICATIONS RECEIVED AS LISTED

58956 Single storey side/rear extension following removal of conservatory and garage - 28 Maple Crescent

Members viewed the application and after consideration agreed that there were No Objections in principle to this proposal, although there are concerns with the loss of on site parking; proximity of the eastern boundary and its impact to the rear of 43a Chalton Lane and the visual impact of a flat roof rather than a pitched roof

SDNP/20/04604/TCA T1 beech cluster of Beech trees to reduce in height by 2m, retaining 10m and reduce width by 3m, retaining 5m T2 beech cluster of Beech to reduce height by 4.5m, retaining 15m and reduce by 3m in width all round, retaining 8m but particularly to clear limbs from house G1 row of 3 Ash and 1 Sycamore to pollard to 3.5m in height T3 Ash Fell - The Old Post Office South Lane Chalton

Members considered the application and after discussion agreed that the decision with regards to this application should be made following consultation with/and agreement by the EHDC Arboricilturist

SDNP/20/04595/CND Variation of Condition 2 of SDNP/18/00484/HOUS to allow substitution of plans to facilitate the alterations made during the course of construction: The existing outer leaf of the facade and roof tile were found unsuitable for retention and were replaced. The location of the outbuilding for the storage of cars was altered to group it with other existing outbuildings - Highbank Petersfield Lane

Members viewed the application and after discussion agreed that No Objections would be raised

SDNP/20/04611/HOUS Single storey extension to side. Replace the roof to the kitchen extension with a vaulted oak frame structure, Extend the roof of the detached garage/annexe building forward and provide support for the roof in the form of oak posts and beams. Clad the west and south facing elevations of the garage/annexe in feather edge oak boarding. Members viewed the application and after discussion agreed that No Objections would be raised although it was considered that some form of protection i.e. strong bollards, should be installed to protect the machine from criminal activity

Members agreed that there were No Objections to the proposed signage
