P53/21TO RECEIVE APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

P55/21APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES

The minutes from the meeting held on 3 August 2021 were agreed as a correct record and were signed by the Chair.

P56/21TO DISCUSS THE APPLICATIONS RECEIVED AS LISTED

a) 57912/001- 6 Columbine Way, Clanfield, PO8 0W.

Rear dormer loft conversion, installation of window and enlargement of existing dormer to front elevation.

Members considered the application and agreed no objections to the application.

b) SDNP/21/03864/FULL – Windmill Hill Farm, Windmill Lane Chalton. PO8 0QF.

Detached dwelling following demolition of existing dwelling.

Members considered the application and agreed no objections to the application, subject to the proposed property being screened by vegetation.

c) SDNP/21/03296/HOUS – Sleepy Hollow Finchdean Road, Chalton PO8 0BG.

Garage and cart shed with ancillary accommodation above used on occasion for paying guests following demolition of existing garage and gardeners wc.

Members considered the application and agreed no objections to the application.

P57/21EHDC PLANNING CONSULTATIONS

a) To formulate a draft response on the site within the Parish that will form part of the preferred options in the District Council’s emerging Local Plan.

Members of the Committee present had attended a virtual presentation, organised by East

Hants District Council on 25 August, regarding a site in the Parish identified for development, in EHDC’s emerging Local Plan. The Parish Council had been invited to complete a proforma questionnaire. Members of the Committee formulated a draft response that Council would consider on 7th September.

b) To formulate a draft response to EHDC’s consultation on its Strategic Design Policy (S27).

Not all Members were able to access EHDC’s proposed Design Policy, therefore the item was deferred to the next meeting.
