EAST HAMPSHIRE DISTRICT COUNCIL (CLANFIELD: NORTH LANE AND SOUTH LANE) (CLANFIELD CHALLENGE) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS) (SPECIAL EVENTS) ORDER 2019
NOTICE is hereby given that not less than seven days from the date of this notice, East Hampshire District Council pursuant to an arrangement entered into under Section 19 of the Local Government Act 2000, with the Council of the County of Hampshire, intend to make an Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along North Lane, Clanfield, from the entrance at Manor Farm to its junction with Hogs Lodge Road and South Lane, Clanfield at the crossroads with Drift Road and Red House Lane to its junction with Hambledon Road.
The Order is necessary to facilitate the Clanfield Challenge running event.
Pedestrian access will be maintained.
The diversion route for North Lane will be via Petersfield Lane, Hogs Lodge Lane and vice versa and for South Lane via Hambledon Road, Red House Lane and vice versa.
The Order will be operative on Sunday 19 May 2019 between the hours of 10.00am and 11.40am for North Lane and 12.00pm and 1.40pm for South Lane.
