Do you know someone who is struggling to keep their home warm?
Cold homes not only make life uncomfortable but can also lead to serious health problems such as respiratory diseases, depression, heart disease or stroke. Young children, older people and those with long term illness or disability are particularly at risk.
Hitting the Cold Spots is funded by Hampshire County Council and aims to support Hampshire residents to efficiently and effectively keep their homes warm. The service
provides advice and information about home energy as well as practical help and grant funding for eligible households.
Hitting the Cold Spots provides free training sessions for frontline staff and volunteers. The sessions cover:
