P41/18TO DISCUSS THE APPLICATIONS RECEIVED AS LISTED
57793
Conservatory to Rear – 8 Meadowcroft Close – Comments Previously Submitted:
There are concerns raised on this application regarding the proximity of the proposed conservatory to the neighbouring property, the length of this conservatory, which is 6.50m, if erected it would only leave a boundary of 0.5 to no 9 property. Does the officers report of December 2013 - in order to retain control over future development, it is considered appropriate to remove permitted development rights to extend the dwellings and to control structures within the gardens - not apply
Site visits were carried out by the Chairman and Clerk
27928/009
Variation of Condition 12 of 27928/004 to allow Substitution of plan 8462-2b with 846430c (Site Plan) - 399 London Road
Members viewed the proposals and after discussion agreed that the Council would OBJECT to this application - it was considered that there should be some form of acoustic fencing or some form of acoustic protection should be installed around the heat source pump itself so as to alleviate the potential noise issue to the neighbouring properties. It was considered that EHDC Environmental Health dept. should visit the site to assess the potential noise nuisance
36760/008
Single Storey Detached Garage - 25 Hazel Grove
Members viewed the proposals and received input from the applicant after discussion members agreed that the Council would OBJECT to this application - the length, bulk and height of the proposed garage would be detrimental to the street scene, it would dominate the site, impact on the surrounding area and be totally out of keeping. The proposal could potentially set a precedent for other properties to construct structures in their frontages. It could also affect the light on the neighbouring property - No 23
