Clanfield Parish Council is funded by a precept. The council’s precept represents a small percentage of the annual council tax.
The parish council must prepare a budget for each year which will cover all necessary expenditure. This includes staff, ground maintenance, including maintaining football pitches, hedge cutting and tree management, play area inspections and maintenance, allotments, litter bin emptying and the provision and maintenance of community defibrillators.
Each year several of the Council projects are funded by grants.
